There is an elegant impressed backstamp with two superimposed characters: one I am quite certain is 'J', but I am not at all sure what the other one is: it could be perhaps the figure '7' or the letter 'F', or it could represent a scythe.  This mark is also on the right-hand of the top of the dish in a simpler form.
