I dont think this has been posted before, I've checked first but apolgies if I missed another submission.
My wife has a pretty milk jug and the mark on the bottom is of a bird with writing underneath. I think its a parrot/cockatiel/parakeet etc, she thinks it's a cockerel. Either way it looks french.
