fleabit - I just bought a brown drip pottery bowl with the same mark yesterday!- only mine came with a name attached, so I could track it down (it's pretty obscure!). The mark is from a dinnerware distributor "Kathy Kane Creations" that operated under Canonsburg Pottery, PA probably 1960s. I found it in Lehner's Encyclopedia of us marks on pottery, porcelain & clay.
