The mark beneath the eagle reads TOGMANA - with a diagonial line through the O. The labeling on the three containers are Caffe, Sale, & Zucchero (Italian). My mother gave these to me and she purchased them at a yardsale in Baltimore.
Nancy, I have posted your information on eBay's Pottery, Glass, and Porcelain Discussion Board. Hopefully, someone there will recognize your mark. You can read the thread and post to it here.
I am going to move your thread to another section of my site--the Discussion Section, Messages about Marks--where enquiries are to be posted.
Nancy, in case you haven't visited the PGP thread yet, I have an ID for you by our expert on Italian pottery, Walter Del Pellegrino:
Tognana has been in operation since 1946 and it is a major porcelain tableware manufacturer today with many lines and many marks. Its major plant is located Casier,in the region of Treviso. Originally the Tognana family opened their business by concentrating on majolica but quickly turned their efforts to porcelain production. The mark you have displayed is an early one, circa 1950 - 1960, but from time to time they have revived the mark.
