Hi everyone! I have spent hours online trying to identify a tureen for my mom. I don't know if it is a vegetable or soup tureen. She said that her brother in law got it from a house in Toronto ( I think they were Ukrainian) back in the 60's.
The lid has a reg number 4136 engraved within a rectangle. It has what looks like an engraved flower or it may just be a dot surrounded by a circle of dots with one line connecting the central dot to one of the outer dots. also has another number engraved 26? It also has red ink with a 1 on the top line, 4216 under that and a 0 under that.
I have no idea what this is. My mom wants to sell it and I said I'd search online to see what I can find out about it but I am not having any luck and have spent a lot of time on here and am getting nowhere. I just went to attach pictures but I don't have one of the lid. My camera battery just died so I will take a pic of the lid marks tomorrow and post.
