I recently acquired several old ceramic pieces. One piece, which is a very old lamp base has a mark on the bottom that I am unable to identify after hours of research on the internet. The mark is simply "italy" and is in a hand-print type of lettering. Has anyone got any idea of the history of this piece?
 I REALLY appreciate any assistance!! It's driving me CRAZY!!
