I'm trying to find out where this plate comes from and what it's worth (if anything)

Hello. Just perusing like everyone else. I'm totally ignorant of any asiatic language, however, I did stumble across some markings I myself could not identify...Korean? Japanese? Your post struck me because it made me think of characters I found called "Baybayin"...just look it up if you haven't. It may not fit, but it's interesting. I don't know if it's ok to leave links, but I was looking at
this site:
http://www.mts.net/~pmorrow/bayeng2.htm

Mods, please delete link if it's not ok. Thanks!

Hi,
The mark says "Kozan Kiln", in Japan.
