I have an old Italian Cache Pot that was given to my husband, over 30 years ago while stationed over in Italy, by an elderly lady and it had been in her family for years. I can't find the mark any where. I also have an old German Sauer Dish which I have had for over 30 years and can't seem to find that mark either. The dish has a painting of the City of Lauingen/Donau and It was handmade. The stickers are still intact. I do believe it was made post war. Any help with either item would be greatly appreciated.
I would like to know more about them and maybe how much they might be worth.
Thank you for your response. I have already sent pictures to Sotheby's it seems my items were manufactured after 1891 and probably 20th century. They primarily specialize in 18th and 19th century, They were not able to help. Still searching for answers as to how much they might be worth. I am looking to sell them. Thank You Cheryl
