Hi there, I'm new to all of this too. I like this forum. It took me to Ebay's forum, and I found some information there. That said, there is a really thorough website (mostly free, I haven't paid to join, and have looked at a lot of marks) that you might turn to. www.gotheborg.com/marks/index_jap_marks.htm Best of luck finding the maker. From what I've seen, your vase (and I am NO expert) appears to be 20ths century. It seems a lot of the marks (not all) that have a border such as yours, are more current. That by no means detracts from your lovely piece!
